As a result of hostilities and targeted enemy strikes on the energy infrastructure, there are new power outages in the Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv Regions on the morning of February 12. This was reported by the press service of Ukrenergo.
"Emergency restoration work is being carried out taking into account safety requirements. Energy workers are doing everything possible to return the damaged equipment to operation as soon as possible," the message says.
On Wednesday, traditional outage schedules and capacity restrictions for industry are in effect. Emergency outages have also been applied in some regions, which will be canceled immediately after the situation in the energy system stabilizes.
Electricity consumption
According to energy workers, consumption corresponds to seasonal indicators. In the morning, its level was 2.1% lower than at this time the previous day - on Tuesday. The reason is the application of a larger number of restrictive measures in certain regions.
"The need for economical energy consumption remains throughout the day. Please limit the use of powerful electrical appliances as much as possible. If possible, transfer energy-intensive processes to night hours - after 11:00 pm," added Ukrenergo.
Recall that 95,000 residents of the Odesa Region were left without electricity due to russian shelling.
