The Cabinet of Ministers has included 6 Transcarpathian castles in the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine of National Importance. It was announced by the Ministry of Culture, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
In particular, the State Register of Monuments includes:
Kvasovo castle - XII-XIII centuries (Kvasovo village);
Nyalab Castle - XIII century (Korolevo village);
Sevliush Castle - XIII-XV centuries (Vynohradiv);
Schönborn Palace (Beregvar Castle) - the end of the XIX century (Karpaty village);
St. Miklos Castle - XIV-XV centuries (Chynadiiovo village);
Serednyanska fortress - XIII century (Serednie village).
The Ministry of Culture notes that the implementation of the government's decision will contribute to the preservation and popularization of monuments of national importance located in Transcarpathia.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Cabinet of Ministers removed the memorial site where the Pereiaslav Rada took place in the Kyiv Region from the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine.
