As a result of artillery shelling and drone strikes on the energy sector, new blackouts have occurred in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Odesa Regions this morning. The press service of Ukrenergo has reported this.
Where the security situation allows, emergency repair works are already underway.
How the power is cut off today?
In all regions of Ukraine, power limitation schedules for industry are applied, as well as hourly blackout schedules for all categories of consumers. In some regions, emergency blackouts have been forced, which will be canceled as soon as the situation in the power system stabilizes.
Electricity consumption
Consumption shows an upward trend. In the morning of February 10, its level was 9.3% higher than at the same time on the previous day - on Monday. The reason for this is a drop in temperature in all regions of Ukraine, as well as fewer restrictions in certain regions than the previous day.
"The need for economical energy consumption remains in all regions of Ukraine throughout the day. Please limit the use of powerful electrical appliances as much as possible. If possible, postpone energy-intensive processes to the night hours - after 11 p.m.," the power engineers added.
As a reminder, yesterday Ukrenergo reported that most regions switched to planned schedules, but some NPPs are not operating at full capacity.
