Russia reduces oil refining by 19% due to DeepStrike strikes in January - Syrskyi

As a result of DeepStrike strikes in January, the aggressor country russia reduced oil refining by 19%. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi announced this on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"In January, DeepStrike completed 48 fire missions to destroy the oil and gas industry in russia. As a result, the total oil refining in russia was reduced by 19%, or 53.4 million tons per year," he said.

He also said that in January, the Air Forces carried out 80 air strikes, and the Ukrainian Defense Forces' strike UAVs carried out more than 300,000 special missions.

As a result of the strikes on enemy airfields, the enemy's use of guided aerial bombs decreased by 5%.

According to Syrskyi, in January, the Armed Forces of Ukraine stabilized the situation at the front, stopped the enemy, and effectively destroyed its personnel and equipment.

He said that the total losses of the enemy in the first month of the year amounted to 31,700 people, which is 9,000 more than the volume of its replenishment for the same period, this trend should be continued and strengthened.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said that in January 2026, the aggressor country russia lost more than 30,000 soldiers, and the enemy occupied an additional 0.04% of the territory of Ukraine.
