First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal declared UAH 1.6 million in income for 2025, while his wife Kateryna Shmyhal had UAH 9.3 million. This is evidenced by the data of the Unified State Register of Declarations of persons authorized to perform state or local government functions, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
In particular, in 2025, Shmyhal's income amounted to the salary of the Prime Minister (January-July 2025) - UAH 754,904 and the salary of the Minister of Defense (July-December 2025) - UAH 805,703.
His wife's income from entrepreneurial activity amounted to UAH 9,199,521, her salary at KADIS UA was UAH 96 thousand, and her pension was UAH 39,190.
Shmyhal also declared USD 140,000 in cash, UAH 213,900 in bank accounts, his wife had UAH 231,200 and USD 286,000 in cash, UAH 908,700 in bank accounts.
Shmyhal owns a land plot (2,200 square meters) in the Lviv Region.
His wife owns a house (215.9 sq. m.), a garage (17.7 sq. m.), a land plot (151 sq. m.), 25% of another land plot (total area of the plot 458 sq. m.), non-residential premises (323.2 sq. m.) in Lviv, a land plot (2,200 sq. m.) in the Lviv Region.
In addition, since February 2024, Shmyhal's wife has owned 100% of the private enterprise KADiS UA (Lviv, leasing and operation of real estate, authorized capital of UAH 30 million).
The wife also uses a company car, a 2022 Range Rover Sport, which belongs to her company.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on January 14, the Verkhovna Rada appointed Denys Shmyhal as First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Energy.
Since July 2025, Shmyhal has served as Minister of Defense, and from March 4, 2020, to July 16, 2025, he was Prime Minister.
Shmyhal declared UAH 1.2 million in income for 2024, his wife Kateryna Shmyhal - UAH 8.5 million.
