On February 5, a regular meeting of the Headquarters for the Elimination of the Consequences of Emergency Situations in Kyiv and the region was held.

This is stated in a message by the Ministry of Energy on its Facebook page, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The report says that the most difficult area in Kyiv remains the area supplied by CHPP-4.

Heat supply in the area is not expected to be restored in the near future, and therefore power engineers are trying to provide improved power supply schedules.

A total of 64 repair crews were involved in restoring power supply in the city today.

It is noted that the work on the installation and launch of cogeneration gas plants is proceeding according to schedule and the launch of 9 MW and 18 MW plants is expected in the near future

Along with the launch, the critical issue is to ensure the physical protection of these facilities.

Also this week, 596 tons of humanitarian aid will be delivered to Ukraine through the Emergency Energy Hub.

The cargo includes transformers, insulators, generators, and other critical equipment that will be delivered to energy companies, local governments, and critical infrastructure facilities across Ukraine.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal warned of a possible deterioration in the blackout schedule following a meeting of the emergency response headquarters on February 4.
