On the morning of February 6, emergency power outages occurred in the Ternopil Region due to icing of power lines.
The Ternopil Regional Military Administration has reported this.
So, as of this morning, 27 10 kV power lines have been de-energized, 16 of them partially. 65 settlements of the Ternopil Region remain without power supply, including 42 - partially.
"Power supply is limited for 8,450 subscribers, the total undelivered capacity is 4.8 MW," the statement said.
It is noted that emergency crews are working in an emergency mode to restore power supply.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on February 6, it is forecast that in the west of Ukraine there will be cloudy weather, slight wet snow and rain, in Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Ternopil, Lviv and Lutsk in some places. The air temperature at night is forecast at +2...-1 degrees, during the day -1...+8 degrees.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that as of February 4, the most difficult situation with the energy sector had been in Kyiv and the region, Kharkiv and the region, the Sumy and Poltava Regions.
