Two injured, kindergarten damaged by russia's night attack on Kyiv - SESU

On the night of February 5, as a result of another hostile attack on Kyiv, destruction and fires were recorded in three districts of the city. It was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv on Facebook.

At present, two elderly women are known to have been injured, but the data on the victims may still be updated.

Most of the damage to civilian infrastructure was recorded in Solomianskyi District, where the blast wave smashed windows in four residential buildings, damaged a preschool education institution and an outbuilding.

In the Shevchenkivskyi District, a fire broke out in a four-story office building as a result of a hit on a 30-square-meter area, which firefighters have already managed to extinguish.

In addition, two cars caught fire near a parking lot in the Obolonskyi District. Rescuers have completed extinguishing the fire and continue to inspect the surrounding areas.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that on the night of February 3, the aggressor country russia carried out a record-breaking strike on Ukraine in terms of ballistic missile use: there were 28 cruise missiles, as well as 43 other missiles of various types that enter the target on a ballistic trajectory and can only be shot down by the US Patriot air defense system.

DTEK reported that russia's nighttime attack on February 3 was the largest attack on the Ukrainian energy system since the beginning of the year, the enemy targeted the facilities that provided Ukrainians with heat and electricity during the frosty period.
