Russia spent almost USD 325 million on strike on Ukraine on night of February 3 - Defense Intelligence

The aggressor country of russia spent USD 324.8 million on the strike on Ukraine on the night of February 3.

This was announced by the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The Defense Intelligence notes that on the night of February 3, russian troops carried out a massive combined air strike on Ukrainian energy infrastructure facilities, using a total of 562 air attack vehicles.

According to the Air Force, Iskander and RM-48U ballistic missiles, 3M22 Zircon and 3M55 Oniks hypersonic missiles, Kh-101, Iskander-K and Kh-32 cruise missiles were used against Ukraine.

In parallel with the missiles, the enemy used the Geran and Garpia strike drones, as well as the Gerbera simulator drones. The total cost of the weapons used was USD 324.8 million, which is over USD 190 million more than during the massive shelling on January 20. With this money, the Jewish Autonomous Oblast of the russian federation, with a population of about 144,000 people, or the city of Kaluga, with a population of over 320,000, could live for a whole year. This amount is also comparable to the half-year budget of the Kostroma Oblast," the report says.

The Defense Intelligence emphasized that instead of improving living conditions and developing the infrastructure of its own regions, the Kremlin spent these funds on strikes on Ukraine's civilian infrastructure.

At the same time, most of the resources spent — 79.2% — turned out to be in vain: Ukrainian air defense destroyed 450 air targets.

The Defense Intelligence notes that, without tangible successes in the war against Ukraine, the Kremlin is resorting to systematic terror of the civilian population in an attempt to undermine the unity of Ukrainian society.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that on the night of February 3, the aggressor country of russia carried out a record strike on Ukraine in terms of the use of ballistics: there were 28 cruise missiles, as well as another 43 missiles of various types that approach the target on a ballistic trajectory and can only be shot down by the American air defense system Patriot.

DTEK reported that russia's night attack on February 3 was the largest strike on the Ukrainian energy system since the beginning of the year.

The enemy targeted facilities that provided Ukrainians with heat and electricity during the frosty period.
