Businessman Serhii Karabuta took the oath and began to perform the duties of a Member of Parliament from the Servant of the People party.
Deputy from the Holos faction Yaroslav Zhelezniak announced this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"Serhii Karabuta took the oath of MP. There are 228 MPs in the Servant of the People," he said.
In 2006, Karabuta became a co-founder and director of the travel company Tropicana Tevel LLC.
In addition, he was the head of the Kyiv branch of Travel Company LLC.
Karabuta was born on January 3, 1983 in Kyiv.
In 2006, he graduated from the Institute of Tourism of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine with a degree in "management" and the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 23, the Central Election Commission announced that it had recognized businessman Serhii Karabuta, the next candidate included in the party's electoral list under No. 156 in the July 2019 elections, as the elected member of the Verkhovna Rada from the Servant of the People party, instead of the deceased Oleksandr Kabanov.
