On the night of Tuesday, February 3, the military of the aggressor country of russia carried out a massive missile and drone attack on the Odesa Region, while the strikes were aimed at the energy and civil infrastructure in the south of the region.
This was announced by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to him, as a result of the enemy attack, more than 50,000 residents were temporarily left without electricity; energy workers are already working on restoring it.
Three residential buildings were damaged, as well as warehouses and administrative premises, and cars.
"Fortunately, there are no deaths or injuries. Critical infrastructure runs on generators," Kiper noted.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, russian troops again attacked DTEK thermal power plants. The hit significantly damaged the equipment of the power facilities, which affected the operation of the stations.
