On the night of Tuesday, February 3, russian troops again attacked DTEK thermal power plants (TPPs), as a result of which the equipment of the power facilities was significantly damaged.
The company's press service announced this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to DTEK, this is the ninth massive attack on the company's thermal power plants since October 2025.
And since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion, DTEK thermal power plants have suffered more than 220 enemy attacks.
As a result of the shelling, workers at the power facilities suffered: 59 power workers were injured, and another 4 were killed during the attacks.
The company emphasizes that despite the constant attacks, power workers continue to restore damaged equipment and do everything possible to maintain the operation of the power system in conditions of constant threats.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, DTEK previously reported that from midnight on February 2, the capital will return to temporary power outage schedules.
