The Antimonopoly Committee on January 29 allowed Ukrpaletsystem, a company of businessman Volodymyr Petrenko's UPG group, to lease another 27 gas stations of the Privat group.
This is said in the message of the AMCU, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
According to the decision, UPG was allowed to lease: Eurotrade Expo LLC - 7 objects; Tequila Gold LLC - 5 objects; Corso Town LLC - 4 objects; Lake Invest LLC - 3 objects; Perspectiva Pro LLC - 3 objects; Sorella Oil LLC - 3 objects and Sirius Gold LLC - 2 objects.
These filling stations previously operated under the ANP and Avias brands
Before the full-scale war, Privat's fuel network was the largest in Ukraine and included more than 1500 gas stations under different brands.
The ultimate beneficial owner of most of these LLCs is Yurii Kiperman (born in 1946 in Dnipro, father of businessman Mykhailo Kiperman), according to Youcontrol.
According to Forbes, the UPG chain, controlled by Volodymyr Petrenko (the official owner is his sister Yuliia Vaskovska), ranks fifth among the largest gas station chains in Ukraine in terms of fuel sales, behind OKKO, WOG, Ukrnafta and BRSM-Nafta.
In 2024, the company's revenue amounted to UAH 38.4 billion.
Ukrpaletsystem now has permission to lease 448 gas stations from Privat Group and owns 26.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the AMCU at its meeting on December 18 allowed Ukrpaletsystem, a company of UPG group owned by businessman Volodymyr Petrenko, to lease 23 more gas stations of Privat Group.
UPG is the fifth largest fuel retailer in Ukraine after OKKO, WOG, Ukrnafta and BRSM-Nafta
