On December 18, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) allowed Ukrpaletsystem, which is part of the UPG group of businessman Volodymyr Petrenko, to lease 23 more gas stations of Privat group.

This is stated in the AMCU's message, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

As stated in the decision, UPG was allowed to lease: 8 gas stations owned by Taros Group LLC; 3 gas stations owned by Vertix-Mall LLC; 2 gas stations owned by Sky Project LLC; gas stations owned by Zhasmi Trade LLC; 2 gas stations owned by Like Invest LLC; 2 gas stations owned by Tequila Gold LLC and 3 gas stations owned by Albilend LLC.

It is noted that these gas stations previously operated under the ANP and Avias brands.

Before the full-scale war, the Privat fuel network was the largest in Ukraine and had over 1,500 gas stations under various brands.

The ultimate beneficial owner of most of these LLCs is Yurii Kiperman (born in 1946 in Dnipro, father of businessman Mykhailo Kiperman), according to Youcontrol data.

According to Forbes, the UPG network, controlled by Volodymyr Petrenko (the official owner is his sister Yulia Vaskovska), ranks fifth among the largest gas station networks in Ukraine in terms of fuel sales, behind OKKO, WOG, Ukrnafta, and BRSM-Nafta.

In 2024, the company's revenue amounted to UAH 38.4 billion.
