The PlayCity state agency, created to replace the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries, has begun scheduled inspections of gambling organizers for compliance with relevant legislation.
This is announced in the agency's statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the results of the first inspection, violations of the legislation were found in the activities of LLC "Bookmaking Company "FAVBET".
The gambling organizer used software from a supplier without a B2B license, which violates the requirements of the legislation, and also delayed the payment of winnings to players and postponed the license payment.
For the violations identified during the inspection of the organizer, penalties totaling more than UAH 9 million were applied.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, PlayCity previously fined the gambling organizers "Casino.UA" and "Favbet" for UAH 3.2 million.
For 10 months of 2025, the gambling business paid UAH 14.6 billion in taxes to the budget.
This is only UAH 0.34 billion, or 0.2% more than for the same period last year.
