President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that at a meeting with US President Donald Trump he agreed on a package of PAC-3 missiles for the Patriot.

He said this at the second national forum of talented youth in Kyiv on January 23, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

"We spoke yesterday with President Trump... I talked to President Trump for an hour. And I received, I will not say how many, PAC-3 missiles for Patriot. I know how many of these missiles, this package, how many times Ukraine can withstand ballistic missile strikes," Zelenskyy said.

He also noted that he spoke with Trump about global issues, but apart from that, they resolved the issue "which is exactly, very clearly, why I went there."

"If I meet with someone, I have to bring something back to Ukraine. This is the only approach during the war. There is no other way," the President said.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, US President Donald Trump said that the meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was "very good" and added that "everyone wants the war to end." Meanwhile, special envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner traveled to russia as part of the ongoing peace talks.

In addition, Zelenskyy also reported a good meeting with US President Donald Trump in Davos, Switzerland. According to him, the documents are even more prepared.
