The head of the League of Energy Development of Ukraine, Oleksandr Holizdra, said that it is difficult to accurately predict the timing of the capital's return to the planned outage schedules, but the situation may improve in a few days. The expert made this prediction in a comment to the Telegraf publication.
According to him, next week should be easier for Kyiv, provided that there are no new large-scale attacks by the russian federation on energy infrastructure.
"Next week should be easier, provided that the russians do not strike hard again. Provided that there are no new strikes, the schedules may be approximately 3-3.5 lines," Holizdra said.
He explained that such a regime would mean that Kyiv residents would have electricity for approximately 12 hours a day, which, according to him, would be "a little tighter than before the new year, that is, a month ago."
Earlier, First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal stated that energy workers had developed a number of technical solutions that would allow Kyiv to move to the predicted electricity outage schedules.
