The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine will present proposals for systemic solutions to the problems that have accumulated around the work of territorial recruitment and social support centers.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this following a meeting with newly appointed Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
Zelenskyy said that the Defense Ministry will be offered systemic solutions to the problems that have accumulated with territorial recruitment and social support centers. He reminded that earlier decisions had already been made to ensure a more equitable distribution of recruits between combat brigades.
"But we need much more ambitious changes in the mobilization process, which guarantee more opportunities for both the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine and the economic processes in our country," Zelenskyy wrote.
He added that Fedorov would soon present a new team of the Defense Ministry.
Also, after the meeting with the Defense Minister, Zelenskyy said that he expects him to eliminate the defense funding deficit, as well as to better provide for the military on the front line.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, today, on January 14, the Verkhovna Rada appointed Mykhailo Fedorov as the new head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
A day earlier, the parliament dismissed Fedorov from his previous post as the head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
