The Verkhovna Rada has appointed Dmytro Natalukha (Servant of the People faction), chairman of the Rada's Economic Development Committee, as head of the State Property Fund. The decision was voted for by 244 MPs out of the minimum 226 required, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Natalukha, 38, was elected to the Rada from the Servant of the People party (No. 14 on the list) in 2019.
In 2017-2019, he was a partner at Lead/Augury, a company that specializes in crisis communications, political campaigns and PR.
From 2015 to 2017, he headed the Kominternivskyi District State Administration in the Odesa Region.
He previously worked at the Kyiv office of the American company Baker & McKenzie and other law firms, and advocated for the rights of IDPs with the UNHCR office in Ukraine.
Natalukha was born on September 15, 1987 in moscow, graduated from the Law Faculty of the Institute of International Relations of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, he is a graduate of the Master's program in International Politics at the University of Cambridge (UK), former chairman of the Ukrainian Society of Cambridge.
Natalukha's wife is a former MP from the Batkivshchyna party, Alyona Shkrum, who was appointed First Deputy Minister of Communities and Territories Development by the Cabinet of Ministers in December 2024
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in November 2023 - September 2024, the head of the SPF was Vitali Koval, in September 2022-September 2023 - Rustem Umerov.
