President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy posted a message in Persian on X (Twitter), in which he supported the mass protests in Iran and called them a real uprising that could weaken russia's position in the war against Ukraine due to the possible termination of assistance from Tehran
In the post, Zelenskyy noted that the events in Iran are a clear signal that "everything will not be so easy for Russia," and the people of Iran deserve to be liberated from the regime, which, according to him, has brought a lot of evil not only to Iranians, but also to Ukraine and other countries. The President also called on the international community not to miss the moment and join in supporting the changes.
"It is important that the world does not lose this moment when change is possible. And every leader, every country, international organizations must now join in and help people get rid of those who are responsible for the fact that Iran, unfortunately, has become like this. Everything could have been different," the President of Ukraine emphasized.

As you know, mass protests in Iran began on December 28, 2025, amid a sharp rise in prices and rapidly grew into an anti-regime movement with slogans against the country's supreme leader. According to media reports, the confrontation resulted in more than 500 deaths. At the same time, the hereditary Shah of Iran, who is currently in exile, asked Trump to intervene and protect the protesters.
