After the special operation Spider Web, which was carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) under the leadership of General Vasyl Maliuk, the russians still cannot restore their strategic aviation potential.
This is reported by sources of Ukrainian News Agency with reference to information from Western special services.
"Despite all the Kremlin's attempts to hide the real scale of the losses suffered, russia still cannot overcome the consequences of this attack and restore its strategic aviation potential," the source notes.
The SSU special operation, thanks to which 41 enemy strategic aviation aircraft were hit, was personally developed and coordinated by the ex-SSU head Vasyl Maliuk.
The direct attack was carried out by the operators of the SSU's "Alpha" drones.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 1, the Security Service of Ukraine conducted a large-scale special operation to destroy enemy bombers in the rear of the aggressor country of the russian federation called Spider Web.
As part of the special operation, drones attacked russian military airfields and damaged about 34% of russian strategic cruise missile carriers, in particular the Tu-95, Tu-22 M3.
The estimated cost of the affected strategic aviation of the aggressor country is USD 7 billion.
Ukraine used 117 drones for a massive attack on enemy airfields.
The preparation of the operation lasted for more than a year and a half.
Malyuk said that after Operation Spider Web, the russians moved all long-range strategic aviation to the airbase in Ukrainka.
