The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) conducted a unique special operation to simultaneously hit four military airfields in the rear of the aggressor country of the russian federation. As a result of drone strikes, 41 aircraft were hit, including the A-50, Tu-95, Tu-22 M3 and Tu-160. The details of the Spider Web special operation, which was prepared for over a year and a half, were told by the head of the SSU, Lieutenant General Vasyl Maliuk.
Thus, it is reported that the SSU drones worked out targets at once at 4 military airfields of the russian federation - Belaya, Dyagilevo, Olenya and Ivanovo. It is noted that thanks to the plan, it was possible to hit the largest number of enemy aircraft at once.
"In general, we are talking about the destruction of 34% of strategic cruise missile carriers at the main airfields of the russian federation. This was not just a devastating blow to enemy aviation, but a serious slap in the face of the power and terrorist essence of the russian federation," Vasyl Maliuk emphasized.
The estimated cost of the enemy's strategic aviation hit is over USD 7 billion.
According to Vasyl Maliuk, the special operation Spider Web took place simultaneously in three time zones and was extremely complex from a logistical point of view.
It is noted that at first the SSU transported FPV drones to russia, and later - mobile wooden houses. Already in the territory of the russian federation, the drones were hidden under the roofs of houses, placed on trucks. At the right moment, the roofs of the houses were opened remotely, and the drones flew to hit the designated targets - russian bombers.
"According to the laws and customs of war, we have worked out absolutely legal targets - military airfields and aircraft that bomb our peaceful cities. So, on our part, there is a real demilitarization of the russian federation, because we are destroying military targets. And our strikes will last exactly as long as the russian federation terrorizes Ukrainians with missiles and Shaheds," Vasyl Maliuk said.
He thanked all the special services who were involved in this historic special operation, emphasizing that all its participants have been in Ukraine for a long time.
"The enemy thought that he could bomb Ukraine and kill Ukrainians with impunity and endlessly. But this is not so. We will respond to russian terror and destroy the enemy everywhere - at sea, in the air and on land. And if necessary, we will get it out from under the ground," the head of the SSU emphasized.
