As a result of a nighttime attack by russian drones, a significant number of consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk Region were cut off from electricity in the morning. It was reported by the press service of Ukrenergo.

"Restoration work has begun wherever security conditions currently allow it. Also, due to the damage caused by the consequences of previous missile and drone attacks, the distribution system operator continues to apply network restrictions in the Odesa Region. Emergency restoration works in the region are ongoing," the statement reads.

Consumption

Electricity consumption has increased. In the morning of January 7, its level was 3.3% higher than at the same time on the previous day - on Tuesday. The reason for this is the easing of power supply restrictions in most regions of Ukraine.

The consequences of bad weather

Due to unfavorable weather conditions (heavy snow, slush build-up), 21 settlements in the Zakarpattia Region were fully or partially cut off from electricity supply in the morning. There are also consumers without power in the Kyiv Region. In both regions, the damaged lines are being repaired by the crews of local power distribution companies.

Recall that earlier Ukrenergo stated that Ukraine has already received more opportunities to import electricity.
