Belgium is ready to take an active part in ensuring stability and peace in Ukraine after the end of hostilities. Belgian Prime Minister Bart de Wever has stated this following the meeting of the "Coalition of the Willing" in Paris on X.

According to the Prime Minister, Brussels plans to focus on supporting Ukraine in the air and sea space.

"Our contribution will focus in particular on providing air and maritime capabilities as well as efforts in the area of training, where Belgium can deliver tangible and meaningful impact," de Wever wrote.

The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of international coordination, with the United States playing a leading role. It is the United States that will lead the monitoring of the security situation, which should be a decisive factor in deterring russia from possible new aggression in the future.
