President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron have signed a Declaration of Intent on the deployment of multinational forces in Ukraine.

Macron made the statement on Tuesday, January 6, at a joint conference with Zelenskyy and Starmer.

The Declaration of Intent provides for a mechanism that will integrate the armed forces involved and ensure coordinated actions between them at the operational level.

A coordination group will also be established. It will work in cooperation with the Coalition headquarters, which is already operating in Paris.

Macron noted that in the event of a repeated attack, the 800,000-strong Ukrainian army would be the first line of defense. Countries from the "Coalition of the Willing" will support it.

In addition, mechanisms will be created to monitor compliance with the possible ceasefire. The United States will play a major role in this.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on January 6, US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff said that in Paris, the American delegation met with Zelenskyy. According to him, "significant progress" was made in terms of security guarantees.

We would like to remind you that Kyrylo Budanov for the first time arrived at the meeting of the "Coalition of the Willing" as the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
