Russian occupation units continue offensive operations in the Donetsk Region. This was reported by the DeepState monitoring project late on January 4.
"The enemy was able to advance in Riznykivka and Chasiv Yar (Bakhmut district) and in Myrnohrad (Pokrovsk district)," the report says.

Recall that the DeepState analytical project reported on the local advance of russian troops in several regions of Ukraine as of Monday, December 29.
Meanwhile, according to the project, during 2025, russian troops captured 4,336 sq. km of Ukrainian territory, which is about 0.72% of the total area of the state.
