US President Donald Trump assured that Washington will return all funds spent on supporting Ukraine. During a broadcast from the White House, he emphasized that the war in Ukraine currently costs nothing for the American budget, but on the contrary, brings profit.
Trump contrasted his approach with Joe Biden's policy, criticizing his predecessor for the free transfer of USD 350 billion. According to the incumbent President, a significant part of the costs has already been compensated thanks to the agreement on rare earth metals.
"We concluded an agreement on rare earth metals, entered this area, and we will return a lot of this money. Maybe all of it, and maybe even more," Trump concluded.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, President of the United States of America Donald Trump emphasized that he concluded an economic agreement with Ukraine, which provides for access to land resources, and this agreement is of great importance for the economy and security of the United States.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio also stated that the economic cooperation agreement between Ukraine and the United States, signed on April 30, is an important milestone on the way to ending the full-scale war in Ukraine.
