"The strike hit a residential high-rise building in the Kyiv district of the city. According to preliminary information, there are casualties and significant damage," he wrote.

"A terrible russian strike on Kharkiv. Previously, two missiles. Just on a residential building. One of the houses is significantly damaged. A rescue operation is currently underway, and all necessary services are being involved. The exact number of victims is not yet known. Emergency services, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the city and regional authorities of the Kharkiv Region will provide updated information," wrote President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
