The aggressor state of russia created a fake that it passed to US President Donald Trump about the attack on the "residence" of russian dictator vladimir putin. Its goal was to delay the negotiations, as well as to create a split between the US and Ukraine.

This is stated by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) at the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Andrii Kovalenko.

"Putin and his propagandists have relaxed so much that the entire fake about the "attack on his residence", which in fact did not happen, was organized very primitively. In addition to high-level statements, two days later they put some kind of drone in the snow, no other evidence was provided. And this may indicate several goals of the russians," the report says.

The first, Kovalenko said, was so that putin had a basis for stalling the negotiations to end the war, and could also change his own positions in Trump's peace plan, reformat them, and, again, continue to fight.

"Putin's main goal today is to drag out the war until May, avoid new "American" sanctions, and create the prerequisites for abandoning the points of the Trump plan that require something from Moscow," he said.

The second is an attempt to create a split between Trump and the Ukrainian authorities. In particular, it is alleged that putin's words about the attack on the residence, spoken to Trump personally, were made in order to shift the blame for the delaying of the war onto Ukraine in order to irritate the US President, which, according to the russians, could lead to a quarrel with the Ukrainian side, but this did not happen.

"Putin is trying in every way to avoid the current situation, in which the US, Europe and Ukraine work together, constantly coordinating positions. Putin wants to decide the fate of Europe and Ukraine without Europe and Ukraine, directly from the US. But this is not possible," Kovalenko summarized.

Recall, on December 29, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the aggressor country of russia is preparing the ground for strikes on the government quarters of Kyiv, for which he accused Ukraine of an alleged drone attack on the residence of dictator vladimir putin.

Trump said that he "was very angry" when he learned about the alleged drone attack on putin's residence.

US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker questioned the russian federation's statement about the "attack" of drones on putin's residence. He called for familiarization with American intelligence data.

After that, the CIA report refuted the Kremlin's statements about Ukraine's attack on putin's residence. According to American intelligence, Ukraine did not carry out any strikes on targets associated with russian president vladimir putin, despite Moscow's claims.
