The aggressor country russia is preparing the ground for strikes on government quarters in Kyiv, accusing Ukraine of an alleged drone attack on the residence of dictator vladimir putin. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced thid on his Telegram channel on Monday, December 29.
Zelenskyy commented on the statement of russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who allegedly spoke about the attack by the Armed Forces on putin's residence in Valdai.
"Now the Russians have come up with an obviously fake story about an alleged attack on some residence of the Russian dictator so that they have an excuse to continue strikes on Ukraine, in particular, to strike Kyiv, as well as to refuse to take the necessary steps to end the war. This is a typical deceitful tactic of the Russians. Especially since they have already struck Kyiv, including the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine," the President of Ukraine emphasized.
Very dangerous statements from russia are aimed at disrupting all the achievements of Ukraine's joint work with the team of US President Donald Trump, Zelenskyy emphasized.

Today, Lavrov accused Ukraine of sending 91 drones to putin's state residence and called these fakes "terrorism." Lavrov also said that russia will not withdraw from peace talks, but will "reconsider its negotiating positions."
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on December 29, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy admitted the possibility of negotiations with representatives of the aggressor country russia only after full coordination with partners.
At the same time, during the talks between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump, the parties failed to reach a final decision on the Donbas.
