On the evening of January 1, a russian drone attacked an emergency medical team in one of the districts of Kherson. The incident occurred at around 10:00 pm in the Dniprovskyi district, where medics arrived on a call to help those wounded from the previous shelling. This was reported by the Telegram of the Kherson City Military Administration.
As a result of the dropping of the explosive device, a 70-year-old ambulance driver was injured and diagnosed with concussion and a mine-explosive injury. The man was taken to the hospital, and the medical service vehicle was damaged. On the same day, a 31-year-old local resident was killed in this area due to drone attacks, and two more people were injured.
Systematic shelling of the city was also recorded in previous days. Thus, on December 28, nine people were injured during a morning attack on the Korabelnyi district, and another resident was injured by artillery fire in another part of the city. In addition to human casualties, significant damage to private and multi-storey housing stock was recorded.
Earlier, on December 25, the central part of Kherson came under massive shelling. The strike hit the territory of the city market at lunchtime. As a result of this attack, a man was killed, and two more people were injured to varying degrees. The city authorities note that shelling of residential areas and civilian infrastructure facilities in the regional center remains regular.
