President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has dismissed the head of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, Ruslan Magomedov.
This is stated in the relevant Presidential Decree No. 1018/2025, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Ruslan Magomedov was appointed chairman of the NSSMC in February 2021.
His term expired in 2027.
Prior to his appointment to this position, he was a freelance advisor to the head of the President's Office, Andrii Yermak, and headed the company "Astrum Capital".
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in early December it became known that three members of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission had submitted their resignations.
The resignations were submitted by Yurii Boiko, Yaroslav Shliakhov and Iraklii Baramiia for personal reasons.
The law stipulates that the decision of the commission is considered adopted only if it is supported by 5 members.
