3 members of Securities Commission filed resignation applications

Three members of the National Commission for Securities and Stock Market (Securities Commission) have filed resignation applications.

A representative of the Securities Commission told the Ukrainian News Agency.

The agency's interlocutor noted that Yurii Boyko, Yaroslav Shliakhov and Irakliy Baramiya filed applications for personal reasons.

The legislation stipulates that the commission's decision is considered adopted only if it is supported by 5 members.

Currently, the Securities Commisison consists of 6 members and the chairman of the commission.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed Yuriy Boyko, Yaroslav Shlyakhov, Yurii Shapoval and Irakliy Baramiya as members of the National Commission for Securities and Stock Market from April 1, 2021.

At the end of February 2021, Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Tymur Khromayev, the chairman of the Securities Commission, and appointed Ruslan Magomedov in his place.
