Repair work at power facilities in the Kyiv Region continues. As of now, heat supply in the affected communities of the Obukhiv district has been fully restored. In addition, in Vyshhorod, it was possible to stabilize the electricity situation and provide light to all residents of the city. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Mykola Kalashnyk in Telegram.
The official thanked power engineers, rescuers and utility services for their round-the-clock work, and also noted the residents of the communities for their endurance and mutual support in difficult times. Despite significant successes, repair work in the areas with the most severe damage is still ongoing. Because of this, emergency power outages are currently being used on the left bank of the region.
At the same time, all critical infrastructure in the region is operating stably. The region is fully provided with water supply, sewage and heat supply, and the indestructible points continue to function for the needs of citizens.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Kyiv City State Administration previously stated that both banks of Kyiv had been switched from emergency to hourly power outage schedules.
But all attempts to switch the Left Bank of Kyiv to stable power outage schedules were unsuccessful.
In the event of a complete cessation of russian attacks on energy infrastructure, Ukraine will need about two months to return to stable operation of the power system without power outage schedules.
