Kyiv's left bank returns to power outage schedule, heating to be resumed soon - Kyiv City State Administration

The situation with power supply in the capital has stabilized - both banks of Kyiv have been switched from emergency to hourly power outage schedules. Petro Panteleev, deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration, has reported this on Kyiv24.

According to the official, the heating situation on the Left Bank is also getting better.

"In general, the situation with heat supply is stabilizing and now there are several hundred houses on the left bank. Today we plan to restore heat supply to them," the official said.

At the same time, the Kyiv City State Administration emphasizes that due to the overall deficit in the Ukrainian energy system, the situation remains tense, and full stabilization is still far away.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, yesterday it was reported that heating has already been restored in most residential buildings in Kyiv and the region. The works are ongoing in some buildings, and by the end of the day, heat should have been available everywhere.

As a reminder, on December 27, almost a third of the capital was left without heat as a result of a massive russian attack. Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko said that more than 2,600 residential buildings, 187 kindergartens, 138 schools and 22 social institutions were affected.
