In November 2025, the state-owned energy trader Energy Company of Ukraine imported electricity for the first time through its Slovak subsidiary ECU Europe, s.r.o.

It is noted that in November, ECU made a test supply of 357 MWh from Slovakia through ECU Europe.
Also, in November, the Ukrainian company resumed imports from Moldova through its Moldovan subsidiary ECU EAST.
The report says that in November, Energy Company of Ukraine imported 10,200 MWh, ranking 5th in the ranking of importers for the month.
For 11 months of 2025, the company imported 227,000 MWh of electricity.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in November, compared to October, Ukraine increased electricity imports by 15% to 415,000 MWh.
