The aggressor country russia has attacked and damaged facilities in the ports of Pivdennyi and Chornomorsk in the Odesa Region. Oleksii Kuleba, Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine, Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, reported this on his Telegram channel on Tuesday, December 30.
Kuleba noted that as a result of the attack by the russian occupiers, facilities in the ports of Pivdennyi and Chornomorsk were damaged. In particular, a civilian vessel carrying grain under the Panamanian flag, which was in the port, was hit, and oil storage tanks of an industrial enterprise were damaged. According to preliminary information, one person was injured.
"Rescuers are working at the scene to eliminate the consequences. This is another targeted attack by Russia on civilian port infrastructure. The enemy is trying to disrupt logistics and complicate shipping," Kuleba wrote.
Seaports continue to operate in compliance with security requirements despite russian shelling.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on December 22, Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine, Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksii Kuleba said that the aggressor country russia is trying to destroy maritime logistics by launching systemic attacks on port and energy infrastructure.
On December 20, Kuleba also reported that as a result of the morning attack on the port of Pivdennyi in the Odesa Region, tanks were damaged.
