Russian propaganda presents video of occupiers leaving Kupiansk as proof of city's "capture"

The propaganda of the aggressor country russia presented a video of russian soldiers leaving Kupiansk, Kharkiv Region, as evidence of "control" over the city. One of the Z-channels drew attention to this, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

Last Saturday, December 27, the russian Defense Ministry's Zvezda TV channel published three videos that allegedly confirm that Kupiansk is under the control of the russian army.

One of them shows the occupiers on the territory of a dairy cannery, the other - near the building of a sugar plant. Both enterprises are located on the outskirts of the left-bank part of the city.

And the third video shows the movement of a group of russian army soldiers on the northern outskirts of the right-bank part of Kupiansk. The publication says that they are walking through the city and this is allegedly proof of "control."

A Telegram channel that covers the activities of the Zapad group of russian troops writes that the video published by the russian Defense Ministry's TV channel shows soldiers leaving Kupiansk rather than heading towards it.

"The right bank, the northernmost part of Kupiansk. But the most interesting thing here is that the fighters are moving towards the exit from the city. In the video, they have to pass a couple more houses and that's it. And there are zero questions to them. The guys are gods and now they are going to make their way to Radkivka, dive into the pipes/swim across the Oskil and get out of the mess to the left bank, if they are lucky," the author of the channel writes.

And today, on December 29, russian propagandist Vladimir Romanov wrote that "our guys are still in three districts of Kupiansk."

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on December 12, it became known that as a result of an operation that lasted several months, The Ukrainian Defense Forces cleared the northwestern part of Kupiansk. The Ukrainian military also managed to regain control of several settlements north of the city.

At the same time, 100 to 200 russian army soldiers were blocked in the central part of Kupiansk. Last Monday, December 22, the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the number of occupants in the city had decreased to about 100 people.

The leadership of the aggressor country continues to claim the "capture" of the city. At the same time, russian propagandists are reluctant to admit that the situation in Kupiansk is not favorable for the russian army.
