Details of road accident in Poland: young people from Ukraine killed

A fatal car accident occurred near the Polish city of Brzeg, as a result of which five young citizens of Ukraine were killed.

This was reported by European Pravda with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The tragedy occurred on December 24 on the DK39 highway. Among the deceased Ukrainians are people born in 1995, 2003, 2006, 2007 and 2008.

The Consulate General of Ukraine in Wrocław reported that the consuls are in contact with the families of the deceased and local authorities, which are currently conducting investigative actions.

According to the Polish police, on Christmas Eve, two cars collided at an intersection. The 59-year-old driver of one of the cars and five more people who were traveling in the other were killed. The prosecutor's office has not yet commented on the details and causes of the accident.

As a reminder, a road accident occurred in Zielęciny near Brzeg (Poland), resulting in the death of six people. Five of the deceased were citizens of Ukraine, and a 59-year-old resident of Brzeg also was killed.
