Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously announced a meeting with Trump, saying that "a lot can be resolved by the New Year."

Zelenskyy previously told reporters that the 20-point peace plan is 90 percent ready.

"Our task is to make sure that everything is ready 100 percent," he said, adding that negotiations with Trump could help achieve the desired result.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the day before, the American President said in an interview with Politico that the resolution of the war that russia unleashed against Ukraine depends on his position, not Zelenskyy.
