As part of the Build with Ukraine initiative, the Ukrainian company Frontline Robotics and the German Quantum Systems are scaling up production of the Linza bomber drone.
The Ministry of Defense has announced this, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The Linza UAV is equipped with a gyro-stabilized camera with a digital zoom and can carry up to 2 kg of payload at a distance of up to 10 km.
Its tasks include the destruction of enemy personnel and equipment and mining.
Due to its characteristics, it also provides the Defense Forces with opportunities to enhance tactical reconnaissance.
The remote antenna allows the operator to control the drone directly from cover.
Earlier, Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal spoke about the signing of a number of new agreements with German partners worth over EUR 1.2 billion.
In 2026, Germany pledged to allocate EUR 11.5 billion to support Ukraine.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated during the opening of the 32nd meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in December that Germany had significantly strengthened Ukraine's air defense by transferring two powerful Patriot systems to the Armed Forces, as well as the ninth Iris-T anti-aircraft missile system.
The head of the German defense ministry also emphasized the implementation of the recently concluded agreement on cooperation in the defense industry between Ukraine and Germany, noting that defense enterprises of the two countries will jointly produce "much-needed drones" for Ukraine within the framework of this implementation agreement.
