The Coordination Headquarters for Evacuation Measures has announced the mandatory evacuation of children with their parents from 19 settlements in the Donetsk Region, and also decided to evacuate about 200 people with reduced mobility from boarding houses in the Zaporizhzhia Region to the Chernivtsi Region.

Oleksii Kuleba, Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine, Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, reported this on his Telegram channel on Wednesday, December 24.

Kuleba noted that the mandatory evacuation of children with their parents was announced in 19 settlements of the Donetsk Region. A separate decision was also made to evacuate about 200 people with limited mobility from boarding houses in the Zaporizhzhia Region to the Chernivtsi Region.

"All evacuees come to transit centers where they receive comprehensive assistance: medical, humanitarian, psychological, legal and social support. We help with the restoration of documents, processing payments and finding further accommodation. The hotline 15-48 is working around the clock, where people are provided with all the necessary information on evacuation, assistance and accommodation," Kuleba said.

According to him, since June 1, more than 147,000 people have been evacuated from the frontline areas, including more than 17,000 children and more than 5,000 people with limited mobility.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, about 4,000 people in the Sumy Region refuse to evacuate.

As a reminder, russians took fifty residents of a village located close to the border in the Sumy Region to russia. After that, the evacuation in the region strengthened.
