In the Sumy Region, the emergency evacuation of civilians from the border area continues in response to the actions of the russian military after reports of the abduction of residents of a border settlement by the occupiers. Currently, the regional authorities, together with the relevant services, are coordinating the process of moving people to protect them from possible capture by the enemy. The head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Oleh Hryhorov has reported this.
"Today, some residents who had previously refused to be evacuated were evacuated from the Krasnopillia community by armored vehicles. They are currently in a transit center where they are receiving the necessary assistance."
All those who have applied are being evacuated, involving volunteers and special services to ensure their safe departure. The head of the Regional Military Administration thanked everyone who is involved in supporting our people.
"The enemy leaves no choice for the residents of the settlements near the border. The only right step is to evacuate to save lives," Hryhorov wrote.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the russians evacuated half a hundred residents of the village, which is located close to the border in the Sumy Region.
The soldiers of the 24th King Danylo Brigade evacuated the last three residents of Stinky village near Chasiv Yar.
Forced evacuation of children was announced in nine settlements of the Donetsk Region.
