As of December 1, 2025, the total amount of deposits of individuals (including individual entrepreneurs) in Ukrainian banks amounted to UAH 1,552.8 billion, which is UAH 18.0 billion more than the same indicator of the previous month.
This is stated in the message of the Deposit Guarantee Fund (DGF), Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Of the total amount of deposits of individuals as of December 1, 2025:
- deposits in national currency - UAH 1,021.3 billion (+ UAH 11.1 billion for November 2025);
- deposits in foreign currency - UAH 531.5 billion (+ UAH 6.9 billion for November 2025).
The share of individual entrepreneurs in the structure of depositors as of December 1, 2025 was 3.2%, and in the structure of the amount of deposits - 11.7%. The amount of their deposits amounted to UAH 181.3 billion. It should be noted that deposits of individual entrepreneurs are subject to guarantees by the Deposit Guarantee Fund. As of December 1, 2025, the structure of the distribution of deposits of individuals in the banking system by size is as follows:

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, from April 13, 2022, on the day the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Regarding Ensuring the Stability of the Deposit Guarantee System for Individuals" comes into force, for the duration of martial law in Ukraine and for three months after its cancellation or termination, deposits of individuals (including individual entrepreneurs) in Ukrainian banks are covered by 100% guarantees. After the end of the three-month period from the date of cancellation or termination of martial law, the maximum amount of guaranteed compensation for depositors of Ukrainian banks will be UAH 600,000.
All Ukrainian banks are participants in the Deposit Guarantee Fund. As of December 1, 2025, there are 60 banks in the register of participants of the Fund.
