During November 2025, the Deposit Guarantee Fund paid more than UAH 31 million in guaranteed compensation to depositors of banks in liquidation.
This is stated in the report of the Fund, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Of these funds, UAH 29.6 million was received by depositors of RwS Bank.
All in all, since the Fund's inception, the amount of guaranteed compensation has amounted to UAH 105 billion, with 95.9% of bank depositors receiving compensation.
During the full-scale war, the Fund has paid more than UAH 9 billion in guaranteed compensation to depositors of banks undergoing liquidation.
The Fund pays guaranteed compensation exclusively from its own resources.
As of November 30, 2025, the Fund's assets amounted to UAH 50 billion.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, RwS Bank was declared insolvent by the National Bank of Ukraine on November 4, 2025, on November 5, 2025, the DGF introduced a temporary administration in the bank, and on November 24, 2025, guaranteed payments to depositors under bank deposit agreements that expired before November 4, 2025, inclusive, and under bank account agreements (current accounts) were launched.
Starting from April 13, 2022, during the period of martial law and within three months after its lifting, a 100% deposit guarantee is in effect, which applies to term deposits, as well as funds on current accounts of individuals and individual entrepreneurs.
