Russian forces recorded advances in two areas in the Donetsk region at once - in the Pokrovsk and Bakhmut districts. This is reported by analysts of the DeepState project.
According to analysts, changes on the front line affect several settlements.
"The enemy advanced near Zvanivka (Bakhmut district), Rivne (Pokrovsk district), Dachne (Pokrovsk district) and in Pokrovsk (Pokrovsk district)," DeepState said in a statement.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on December 12, the DeepState analytical project said that the Ukrainian army cleared the northwestern part of Kupiansk. This information was later confirmed by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Also on December 12, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Kupiansk, which was "surrounded" by russians. He recorded a video near the stele at the entrance to the city.
