The Committee for the Appointment of Heads of Enterprises of Particular Economic Importance has approved the requirements for candidates for the position of independent members of the Supervisory Board of the Naftogaz of Ukraine and announced the selection for four vacancies.
This is said in a statement by the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"We continue to update the composition of supervisory boards of energy companies. Today we have a decision on the selection of four positions to the supervisory board of Naftogaz, an enterprise that is one of the most critical for our country," said Oleksii Sobolev, Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine.
The announcement says that the competitive selection was announced in accordance with the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1265 of November 18, 2025.
The selection is carried out as part of the implementation of the plan (Government Order No. 1258) aimed at updating the composition of supervisory boards and executive bodies of fuel and energy enterprises.
Candidates for the position will be able to submit documents until 6 p.m. (Kyiv time) on January 11, 2026 in Ukrainian and English to the email address: [email protected]
As the Ukrainian News agency reported earlier, the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine announced the selection of candidates for further appointment to the supervisory boards of a number of strategically important enterprises in the energy sector of Ukraine.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko previously stated, that in order to restore trust around NNEGC Energoatom, it is necessary to hold a competition for the Supervisory Board not under a shortened procedure, but under a full and open competitive procedure in accordance with the standards.
