For the third time in the last week, long-range drones of the SSU's Alpha Special Operations Center have struck oil production platforms of Lukoil-Nizhnevolzhskneft operating in the Caspian Sea.

Sources in the Security Service of Ukraine told the Ukrainian News agency about this.

This time, a platform at the Korchagin oil and gas condensate field was hit. As a result of the attack by SSU drones, critical equipment of the facility was damaged, and production processes stopped.

Sources recalled that on December 11 and 12, SSU drones had already hit the Filanovsky and Korchagin oil production platforms. The Filanovsky field is one of the largest explored fields in russia and in the russian sector of the Caspian Sea. Its reserves amount to 129 million tons of oil and 30 billion cubic meters of gas.

"The SSU continues its active work, which reduces the flow of petrodollars to the Russian budget, and, accordingly, the ability to finance the war against Ukraine. Not a single Russian facility working for the war is safe, regardless of its location," said an informed source in the SSU.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and members of the Black Spark resistance movement conducted an operation in the rear of the aggressor country russia. The ships transporting weapons and equipment were hit.
