The Special Operations Forces (SOF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and members of the Black Spark resistance movement conducted an operation in the rear of the aggressor country russia. Transport vessels transporting weapons and equipment were hit.
The press service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the Special Operations Forces reported this on Friday, December 12.
The operation was carried out in the Caspian Sea off the coast of the Republic of Kalmykia. As a result of the operation, the vessels Kompozitor Rakhmaninov (IMO: 8606616) and Askar Sarydzha (IMO: 9082142) were hit.

The SOF said that the above-mentioned vessels are used by russians for military purposes. They are also under US sanctions for their involvement in the supply of military goods between Iran and russia.
It is not specified what damage the russian vessels suffered as a result of the sabotage.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, yesterday, December 11, it became known that the Security Service of Ukraine hit the oil platform of Lukoil in the Caspian Sea. As a result of its damage, production at at least 20 wells was suspended.
On December 10, Sea Baby marine drones attacked the Dashan tanker in the Black Sea. The vessel is a member of the so-called "shadow fleet", which russia uses to export oil bypassing sanctions.
Two more tankers of the "shadow fleet" were hit by drones off the coast of Turkey on the night of November 29.
