On the night of December 13, locals reported explosions in Saratov. According to Telegram channels, the impact could have occurred on the territory of the Saratov oil refinery. It is noted that rescuers were dispatched to the scene of the incident near one of the industrial facilities.
The governor of the Saratov Oblast, Roman Busargin, wrote at night about the danger of drones, and later reported that a civilian infrastructure facility was allegedly hit, and people also were killed.
"As a result of the UAV attack, several apartments in a residential building were damaged. All emergency services involved in the elimination of the consequences are working at the scene. Two people were killed," he added.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of November 28, the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched a series of precision strikes on russian military infrastructure, in particular, hitting the Saratov Oil Refinery.
